Day ????

"Go for JCrum"

I have lost count of what day it is.  There are all running together at this point.  My eating habits of late have been terrible and the scale showed that this morning.  This week's weigh-in is definitely not going to be a good one for me unless something HUGE changes between now and then.  I'm excited about this journey we are on... and excited about the new adventure we are about to take (P90X).

Let's keep each other motivated and keep pushing each other to do good work.

NOT A GOOD WEEK FOR THE OLD MAN

I really let myself down this week. I missed 3 or 4 workouts this week just because of laziness. I just couldnt get motivated at all. And my eating habits sucked! I even enjoyed 2 or 3 Dew's this week. But, I had one last hoorah at Chili's last night, now I am done with all that crap. I guess everyone who changes their lifestles like we all have is gonna slip up every once in a while. I hope that if any one of us is struggling with any of this will be motivated enough to share with the group so we can lift each other up off the ground and say "Suck it up, Wuss!!!"
Really missed getting together last night, but I did enjoy spending time with the family. Looking forward to having a good week. P90X is just around the corner! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' BOUT!!

Hutch again...

Hey Everyone again, Derrick's bike ride illustration made me want to show you guys my walking route...Drock, if I walked a mile, there's no way that's 8 miles! Your route actually looks to be only about 18 inches...

Day #67 "eat your heart out Tony H."

WHAM.......yesterday I knew i need to bust out some cardio, but my living room was occupied my two outstanding teachers who were digilently working. So i figured i would get out side and go for a little bike ride. Wow....by the time i made it back i had been gone for about an hour or so and i could barely stumble through the door. I am really fortunate to have the new Fayetteville trail system right at my back door. I jumped on my bike and rode from my apartment to Paridise Valley Golf course and back. I really can't believe i made it that far, by the end i was just praying for it to be over. My legs where buring like crazy and that little bitty bike seat had hurt my bum some sorta bad. I am guestamating that the trip covered about 4 miles one way. So i think i probalby did some where around 8 miles on the bike. On my next trip i will strap on the GPS and see if i can get a little closer in my guestamation. Here is a pic so you can see the course i travled on my bike. Keep up the awesome work.

Day #67... i think

"Go for JCrum"

Day 67.... WOW... never thought I would make it this far.  Sorry guys... I didn't.  You guys have kept me going.  Knowing that you guys were not giving me made it not give up.  I am very pumped about finishing the P90 and moving on to the P90X.  I have never felt this good about how my body looked in a VERY long time.  I'm pumped about softball to get started.  We should have a good team this year... well, at least we'll all be in shape.

I want to thank Kev for opening up his home to us every week.  I know it means a lot to me, and I'm sure everyone else, that you're doing that for us.  And food is incredible... so's the fellowship!!!  Let's pushing each other and lifting each other up!!!

Sup...Day (well into this)

Hey People...sorry it's been so long. Not too happy with last weeks weigh in. I'm putting a fix to that. Getting ready for P90X here in a few weeks and I need to drop as much as I can. This morning I went on a mile long walk in my neighborhood an realized really quick that a mile is much longer than one would expect. Also, after contacting my mother when I returned from my walk, I realized that if you do step on a crack, it does not in fact break your mom's back, thus curing my OCD which causes me to not step on a sidewalk crack...and that's a good thing since I learned today that it is virtually impossible to walk a mile on a sidewalk without stepping on a crack...so don't worry mom...your back is fine.

Day #63 - Pictures and weigh-in tonight!

"Go for D-Rock"

It's been a really busy week, not at work, but just in general. I also felt very unmotivated at times during the week, especially on cardio days. I'll be honest, i skipped several workouts due to both factors above. I've eaten really well, so i hope that will play into the results tonight. My goal is to be around 177 tonight. We'll see!

In other news:
Got lights installed on jeep
Got new camera to replace broken camera to take pictures of jeep
Got interview on Wednesday, Audra does also
Last day at with the FDIC will be the 19th
Leave for Paris on the 20th
Wow!!! Lots of stuff going on right now.

Day #62... ALMOST PICTURE DAY!!!

"Go for JCrum"

First off I want to say congrats to Craig & Stef for the little one that has come into this world.  How your world is going to change forever... for the GOOD!!!

Secondly, I got on the scale this morning and it read 199.2 lbs.  It has been probably 5 years since I have seen a "1" for the first number of my weight.  I'm so happy.  I thought this week was going to be a wash b/c, like Todd, I haven't been very motivated this week.  Just proves if you just keep "pushing play", good things will happen.

Let's pushing each other and keep lifting each other up in this crazy time we are in right now.  Love each one of you guys!

CONGRATS CRAIG & STEPH

I would like to praise God today for the safe arrival of little DePew! Olivia is a beautiful little girl! Lisa and I saw her last night and I tried to show her how to give the "Hook'em Horns" sign, but Craig showed her how to do another(I'll let him tell you about that)! Craig and I had a celebritory Big Mac meal at 1 am. this morning...so my weigh-in this week may stink, but it was worth it.
It has been hard to stay motivated this week for some reason. I keep seeing improvement every week, but this week has been rough. The only drawback is my clothes. My jeans are falling off of me. It's a nice problem to have.
Let's all keep each other lifted up and motivated. I am looking forward to getting pictures made this week. I think we all are going to see some real improvement in how we look. GET R DONE!!!

Day #57... And On We Go!!!

"Go for JCrum"

Today was sculpt.  Oh, how I love sculpt.  With the new bands I bought, I have to work even harder.  Which is good b/c I love a good work-out.  By the way, you may want to purchase your tickets early for the gunshow... coming soon!!!

Next Thursday is picture day again.  So everyone work really hard this week so we can show some more transformations.

Day #54... Almost 2/3 Through

"Go for JCrum"

I can't believe we almost 2/3 of the way through this process (well... the first stage at least).  The transformation I've seen in all of us is amazing.  It's getting harder for me to keep doing these for some reason lately.  Don't know if it's b/c I've seen a change and my mind is somehow content w/ it.  But not me.  I want to see more change.  So I push myself in every work-out to do more than I did the day before.  Let's keep up the amazing work guys.

Some have asked when we are going to post new pictures.  We post pictures at Day 1, 30, 60, and 90.  So our next pictures will probably be posted next Thursday or Friday.

Day #53 Baby face

Wow.....who would have thought that when i actually shaved all the hair off my face my chin and upper lip would get cold. That's right guys i shaved it all off. It's been around 3 years since i didn't have any facial hair. I started growing it 3 years ago because i was starting to gain a little weight and a goatee makes my face look slimmer. It helps to cover up any double chin.....which is the main reason i haven't shaved it off since. I have been feeling a lot more confident with the recent weight loss, and i have an interview in a couple week, so i just went for it. I guess it's the season for change......new body, new since of health, soon changes in job, changes all around at church, Audra graduates soon, new softball season(got that right), and I'm sure I've missed some of the other changes going on around me. It's a little scary, but exciting all the same. Keep up the hard work bros!!

Day #52... Crescent... to Warrior...

"Go for JCrum"

That's right... today was cardio/abs.  I made it about 85% through every move in the ab routine.  The ones toward the end kicked my rear-end.  I hate full body crunches.  We put up some good #'s last week at weigh-in.  Let's everybody keep up the good work and push hard during our work-outs.  Our "BEACH BODY" is only a couple of months away (after P90X... of course).  I can already see big changes in all of us and can't wait to see the end result.
